Spring ‘25 Author Events
Hi friends! I’m happy to announce I’ll be out and about at several author events this spring (with more in the works for the fall!)
Live events are so much fun. If you’re local to the Upstate South Carolina region, I hope you’ll have a chance to stop by!
Southern Author Fest & Local Author Expo
The Greenville County Library System’s Southern Author Fest is back, and bigger than ever! This year, the event will take place over two days, March 8 and March 9. Featured authors include Raquel Vasquez Gilliland (Witch of Wild Things), David Joy (Those We Thought We Knew), and Glenis Redmond (The Listening Skin).
In addition to the featured author panels and the meet-and-greet, you’ll find local authors (like me!) in the Expo Hall, during three different sessions spread over two days.
I’ll be in the Author Expo Hall on Sunday, March 9, from 3 to 5, along with my author friends Dana Caldwell and Paul Michael Garrison. Please stop by!
* This event is free and does not require tickets. *
Great Homeschool Convention in South Carolina
Homeschool families, mark your calendars for March 13-15 for the Great Homeschool Convention in South Carolina. It will be held at the Greenville Convention Center (1 Exposition Drive, Greenville, SC).
I’ll be sharing a booth in the vendor hall with several author friends:
sci-fi and contemporary writer DT Powell
fantasy author Rachel Greco
Sarah Rodecker and Helena Š. George from Order of the Pen Press
We’ll be in the exhibit hall under the name “Christian Fantasy Authors of the Carolinas.” If you’re attending, please stop by!
You can register for the conference on the Great Homeschool Conventions website.
SC Comicon
I’m excited to be participating in my first Comicon! The SC Comicon will be held the first weekend of April (Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6) and will also be in the Greenville Convention Center (1 Exposition Drive).
I’ll be sharing a booth with Barbara V. Evers, who writes epic fantasy about matriarchal societies and telepathic animals (including some majestic giraffes).
In honor of the fun nature of Comicon, I’m experimenting with a more “goblincore” look for the table. Here’s a little sample:
That’s right—Baby Goblin is back! Also, I’m also pleased that I’ll be offering Allison Tebo’s delightful book, The Goblin and the Dancer, along with my own books and several in the A Classic Retold series.
Tickets for SC Comicon are still available at SCComicon.com.
I hope to see you this spring, friends!
