Crack the Stone releases today!

Today’s the day, friends! Crack the Stone, my fantasy retelling of Les Misérables, hits the stores today (both physical and virtual).

I’m so excited to share this book with you. Not only does it have the Vindor spirit of adventure that you’ve come to love (not to mention a cameo of a very popular goblin king), but it hits on themes that are very close to my heart—love, redemption, and the journey of motherhood.

Though it deals with suffering and starts of with a warlike main character, the story itself has very little violence, and nothing graphically described. (I’m a wimp when it comes to describing injuries, haha.) Though the main character is an adult dealing with grown-up problems, the story is clean and appropriate for middle school and teen readers.
