I met Adare at Realm Makers last summer—I flagged her down because she was wearing an AURYN necklace from the 1980s fantasy book/movie The Neverending Story. When you love more obscure fantasy you HAVE to stop and talk with other fans!

More Centaur fiction!

Adare has just released a fantasy novel of her own, about centaurs of all things! (Another rare fantasy connection.)

On Hidden Wings is a middle grade fantasy about a winged centaur girl and her struggles surviving in a world where non-humans aren't welcome. I'm currently reading through it now and am enjoying this interesting world and its themes of prejudice and fear.
